Dr.Harish Foundation volunteers play an important role in helping to provide quality, compassionate care to patients. Volunteers staff our information desk and transport wheelchair patients around the facility.Volunteers lift spirits by offering a friendly chat and a warm smile to patients. Volunteers help things run smoothly behind the scenes and reach beyond the hospital walls delivering Meals on Wheels to homebound residents. In many ways, volunteers support our community and truly make a difference in the lives of others.

Who Volunteers?
Dr.Harish Foundation volunteers come from all walks of life and backgrounds. Our volunteers are retired adults, moms and dads, students and professionals. We expect our volunteers to be positive, friendly, caring and dependable. Volunteers must be willing to work a regular schedule. We also require volunteers to complete an employee health assessment, adhere to our volunteer policies and procedures and read and agree to a confidentiality code.

HEALTH CARE ASSISTANTS (H A) / CARE-GIVER SUPPORT

A large number of Youth remain unemployed with no skills to match their incomplete education.
The idea is to train semi-literate young men and women who are unskilled with little education in the art n style of basic nursing care of the elderly. The youngsters who have undergone incomplete schooling can be imparted with necessary training along with a stipend followed by On-The-Job Training and a Job Guarantee at the Dr.Harish Foundation.Such HA s form the service arms of the project, they are either stationed or mobile at
Assisted Living Facility Plus
In –house: at LIFE CENTREs,Nursing Homes,Hospitals,
Ambulatory ;move from home to places of work to Adopted old age homes,foundations,for a
PACE Programmes.

Becoming a volunteer at TGF ..
After submitting the application form, you will be contacted for an interview. Once accepted as a volunteer, you will be required to meet Dr.HF employment screens. Before starting, all volunteers will go through a hospital orientation and specific training for their assignments. Volunteers also attend training sessions held twice per year. Volunteers are expected to adhere to all policies by the Volunteer Services Department andDr.HFl. We look forward to hearing from you.
